Hey there. I'm a bit of a newbee, so forgive me for being dumb in advance. Suddenly, CS4 is opeing all my files as some type of an RGB...with 4 layers, a RGB, RED, GREEN, and BLUE. What happened? How do I change this back? It does this to any file type I open...JPG, TIFF, etc. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me! I've googled this for days, and cannot find the answer, and have called adobe and gave up after holding for 45 minutes each time! -- Rourk
What you're seeing there is the Channels panel. I'm assuming you're looking for the Layers panel, which is part of the same group. You probably just switched to the Channels panel without realising it. So have a look at the tab name "Channels" and to left, you'll see the "Layers" one, click on it and it should be what you're looking for.
