Very informative, never knew I could change the performance level. Question: when I open an image in CS4 it tells me that I should go to my video card readers site for an update. How do I do that?

@DisturbedShifty, a USB 2.0 HD would be OK, it won't be as fast as an internal HD, but it'll do for storage for sure.
